About the Markdown Preview
Markdown is rendered with the marked library in GitHub Flavored Markdown mode: tables, task lists (- [x]), strikethrough (~~text~~), fenced code blocks and automatic links work as they do in a GitHub README. Line breaks as <br> turns single newlines into line breaks, like GitHub comments; leave it off for README-style rendering where a blank line starts a new paragraph.
Before the preview is shown, the generated HTML is sanitized: <script>, <iframe>, <style> and similar elements are removed, as are on* event-handler attributes and javascript: URLs. Pasting Markdown from an untrusted source therefore cannot run code on this page. Raw HTML that is safe, such as <details> or <kbd>, is kept.
Switch to HTML code to see the generated markup, which is the sanitized version, then Copy HTML or download it as an .html file. Syntax highlighting is not applied, since each site has its own theme. The Markdown stays in your browser.
How to use it
- Type or paste Markdown, or open a .md file.
- Check the live preview.
