About the Binary to Text
The decoder reads binary as bytes and interprets them as UTF-8. Groups may be separated by spaces, commas or new lines, e.g. 01001000 01101001 → Hi. A separated group shorter than 8 bits is treated as a number, so 1001000 1101001 (leading zeros dropped) decodes too.
A continuous string without separators must have a length that is a multiple of 8; otherwise the tool tells you how many bits it found. Groups longer than 8 bits are split into bytes when their length is a multiple of 8. Only 0, 1 and separators are allowed — anything else is reported with the offending character.
Because the result is decoded as strict UTF-8, multi-byte characters work (11100010 10011000 10000101 → ☕) and invalid sequences are reported rather than shown as . Decoding happens locally in your browser.
How to use it
- Paste the binary digits.
- Separate bytes with spaces or new lines, or paste a continuous string.
- Read the decoded text and fix any reported error.
- Copy the result.
